Request for Contributions
Dear Class of 2019 Families,
Since 2006, the Candlelight Graduation Service has brought together family and friends of multiple faiths to celebrate Broughton’s senior class. The service includes music, readings and spiritual reflections offered by students and faith leaders in the community. A candlelight procession to the Broughton front lawn concludes the service and serves as a blessing for the Class of 2019.
The Candlelight Service is not a school-sponsored event; therefore, it is funded entirely by private donations. Expenses include the auditorium rental, event insurance, speaker honorariums, invitations, programs and candles. We invite you to contribute to this special service by sending a check to: Robin Sealey 307 Shepherd Street Raleigh, NC 27607 OR Donate on-line by using Venmo or this secure link VENMO @Robin-Sealey https://interfaith-candlelight-service.cheddarup.com
Upon request, we will email receipts so please include your email address. Suggestedcontributions range from $25 to $50 but any contribution will be welcomed.
If your student is interested in participating in the service, or if you would like to help with the service, please contact one of our co-chairs: Anna Stein at firstname.lastname@example.org Tiffany Neijna at email@example.com.
We look forward to a joyful evening on Sunday May 19th, when we will gather as family and friends in celebration and gratitude for the lives of our seniors. Look for the invitation in the mail in April, and in the meantime, please mark your calendars for this special event.
Thank you for your support, The 2019 Candlelight Service Committee Anna Stein (Co-Chair); Tiffany Neijna (Co-Chair), Robin Sealey (Treasurer)
